Moses Serugo is an arts journalist and critic. He’s worked for Daily Monitor, The Observer, The Independent and The East African covering mostly the performing arts and film beats. He’s been a regular at Dance Week Uganda – until recently Uganda’s premier contemporary and modern dance showcase, was the PR Manager of the inaugural Dance Transmissions Festival – another contemporary dance showcase that unfortunately doesn’t happen anymore and has done marketing for dance performances like Tabu Flo’s “Myth of The Night Dancers – Abasezi” and “Kalabanda”. He was also selected as a critic for the Dance Umbrella
(South Africa’s premier dance showcase) arts journalism workshop in 2011 under the auspices of Goethe Institut South Africa. He loves to collect stage musicals and dance performance DVDs coupled with watching dance format TV shows like “So You Think You Can Dance”.
