Joe Tabula is a Music producer & musician currently working with the Afrigo Band, the oldest band in Uganda, in brief I would identify my self as an independent, creative person that can take initiative and deal with many responsibilities
Born in Nsambya Hospital – Kampala, his ancestral home is kitambuza- Masaka. He was raised in Namasuba.
Joe has been active on the music & arts administrative scene since early 90’s; a member of various music & arts organizations such as UPRS, IMC, FIM, and the current Vice president of African Music Council.
His grand mother Mrs. Euzebia Mukasa is a church choir member in Kyalusowe – Masaka since his childhood, his mother is a member of Christ the King church choir. The young brother is a music producer; Tabula has acquired skills through trainings sponsored by International Music Council and UNESCO within Uganda and many other African and European countries
The seminary had a great influence on his music career. Later he joined the Rubaga Boys Band, after linked up with Fr. Charles Muwonge and formed Youth Club 2000, he worked with the late Tony Ssengo as a lead guitarist, vocalist, currently he works with Afrigo Band.
