Helen Asfaw, a young leader, graduated from two renowned government universities in the fields of Economics and Public Administration
and Development Management with BAs, and Social Work in MA.
She has been working on versatile positions, as Project Officer, Program Co-ordinator and Program Advisor in diverse organizations including government, local and International NGOs in the areas of development and emergency program for the last ten years.
She is now a Country director of Selam Ethiopia, working for the development of cultural infrastructural and system in Ethiopia. Selam Ethiopia is a Swedish based international organization, whose vision is to see a vibrant cultural society in the country. Selam in Ethiopia with its 11 program is supporting visually impaired, un-established young musicians, and professional through music education, capacity building program, research and survey, networking and experience sharing.
