Elijah is the co-founder and CTO at Fezah, entertainment’s booking app launched in Uganda and Kenya. He previously spent 5 years at Google working as a Partner Developer and later Program Manager on the Developer Relations team. He is also the creator and 12-year presenter of Jazz Evenings, a weekly show on Radio One FM 90, and a co-founder of The Annual Jazz & Soul Safari, a premium sold-out calendar concert now in its 9th year. It has hosted artists including Regina Belle, Kirk Whalum, Karyn White, Norman Brown, Patches Stewart, Chuck Loeb, Eric Marienthal, Gerald Albright, Jonathan Butler, live in Kampala Uganda.

Mr. Kitaka spent three years in technology roles in banking at Barclays Bank and Global Trust Bank. He started his career as the founder and Lead Product & Software Developer at True African, now a 15year old telco value added services company that he recently exited. He holds a BSc. Computer Science from Makerere University.
