DOADOA | 2017 conference topics: DOADOA Conferences programme continues to offer insights into the local, regional and international performing arts markets and today’s tools for artist professional development, creative innovation, production and marketing. The topics for this DOADOA edition are carefully selected to address the challenges of the performing artists and professionals are facing.
All conferences have been articulately defined to suit what each and every delegate/attendee finds appealing in order to benefit from what this particular edition has to offer. DOADOA | 2017 speakers and moderators: There will be over 45 speakers and 14 moderators coming from over 17 countries – (Uganda, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Malawi, South Africa, Belgium, France, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany)–just like the previous editions, this edition of DOADOA brings together some of the best assortment of top notch speakers and moderators, who come to the market, jam-packed with creative knowledge, and have been fortunate in their careers addressing issues of innovativeness, originality, and professional ethics in an open and direct way. Their presence and the opportunity to exploit more artistic opportunities is captivating.
DOADOA | 2017 Venues: The Uganda Museum will host the opening reception on the Wednesday 3rd May, in addition to the full day conference programme and workshops that extend until the 6th May, while the daily night showcase programme host space is Diners Lounge – Bukoto, amid an entry fee of 10,000 UGX per night.
Please note: if you are attending both day and night programme, you will pay 20,000 UGX per day or you can opt for a full pass at 50,000 UGX.
DOADOA | 2017 Speed Networking: The dawn of day programme will climax with One-on-One Speed Network sessions , where participants open up to discuss relevant issues in relation to their careers and entrepreneurial practices and efforts as artists with visiting moderators and speakers.
Please note; one has to pre-register for this 15 minute session slot earlier, in the day at the information desk.
