Carlo Balemans has worked as a conductor with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Carroll College Wind Ensemble (USA), NTR (dutch broadcast company), Band of the Dutch Royal Marines, Ensembles Codarts Rotterdam, The Arnhem Philharmonic Orchestra, ensembles of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and various amateur orchestras. He’s a price winner; conductors contest (Rotterdam), composition contest in Corciano (Italy) and 2 times winner of the Dutch National Championships (basic- and top division) with 2 of his amateur wind bands.Since 2004, Carlo Balemans works as professor Wind Band Conducting at Codarts University Rotterdam. He also is the creative heart of Sound Trip World.
Orihana Calcines is a video/photographer with a specialization in music, theater and film. Apart from that, she has been acting all her life and directing and writing for over five years. At the moment she is focusing on studying music composition and starting her own theatre group.
Bas Duister is trumpeter at the Dutch Wind Ensemble. He describes his musical style as a mix of “playing with colours,looking for challenges in contrasts and open-mindedness”.Bas played with the leading symphony orchestra’s in the Netherlands. He also is founder of Pelgrim Brass, a professional Brass Quintet in Rotterdam.
Marinda Kusters studied flute and education at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. She worked with the Dutch Wind Ensemble, the Ricciotti Ensemble and the Windband of the Dutch Customs. With her own trio “Treeo HOUT” she won the pitch of the “Grachtenfestival Amsterdam”
