26 year old Gloria Achillah is an Afro-blues singer, songwriter and performing artist from Uganda.
She has seven years’ experience working with some of Uganda’s top live performance acts before she finally decided to branch out on her own and record her debut “Jinja Highway”
She has shared stage with music greats like Norman Brown, Kirk Whalum, Rick Braun, Oliver Mtukudzi, Gloria Bosman, Allan Kisaka and the strangers and has worked with reputable Ugandan bands like Qwela and Band Zola.
She has performed at Safaricom jazz festival as part of Femme fusion a UK and East African female group, written for and performed in the pearl of Africa music project, toured and performed at Uganda State events for the Head of state.
Gloria Achillah’s music explores spiritual themes, social issues and poses question on moral issues.
